What is a subluxation?

A vertebral subluxation is an area of the spine that is misaligned placing detrimental pressure upon the spinal cord and/or the spinal nerves that are transmitting life signal to a from the brain.

Subluxations are a response to daily stress that we all endure.  Physical, mental/emotional, or chemical stress can all affect the body and disturb the communication of the nervous system, thus causing pain and decreasing the overall function of the body.

Subluxations can be the underlying cause of many common problems such as neck/back pain, headaches, sciatica, and trouble sleeping.

A thorough consultation and examination by a chiropractor can locate these damaging subluxations.  Once detected the chiropractic adjustment focuses on correcting subluxations and reducing the pressure upon the nervous system.
