Can subluxations clear up on their own?

There are times when subluxations can clear up on their own.

Our bodies are self-maintaining, self-healing organisms that can endure stress.  But due to the daily stresses that we encounter, we are exposed to a constant source of subluxations.  Whether it is physical stress of work, improper sleeping positions or mental stress of financial situations or relationships, we are subjected to regular stress.

When the body is unable to correct the minor problems on its own, the symptoms accumulate and get worse over time.  This is the sign to consult a chiropractor for help.

If you try to self adjust your own spine, consider the consequences.

Bones are held together by ligaments, which have a similar property to a rubber band.  As a rubber band is stretched, over a period of time, it stretches out and becomes loose.  A reason for the increase in frequency of why you may have to “pop” your spine more and more with time is that the spine is becoming unstable.

Ligaments are loose, muscle have to work harder, and subluxations are still present and causing pressure upon the nerves.  The next time the you’re ready to self adjust your neck or back, think about a chiropractic check up to see how we can help.  Give us a call at #948-8722 to check the health of your spine with a consultation and examination.
